The start of this week was an exciting one as we came in to school to find that all of our butterflies had hatched out of their chysalises! After observing them for a day we decided it was time to let them go into the wild. We took them outside on a nice sunny afternoon and set them free. They were kind enough to stay on Miss Reynolds' hand while we all had a good look at them before flying away. We loved seeing that they had hairy bodies, and how colourful their wings were. We will miss them, but we loved watching their metamophasis in our classroom! Comments are closed.
