Cookie Monster Maths

​In our Maths sessions we have been learning and recapping composition; understanding that one number can be made from two or more smaller numbers. The children made fruit kebabs using two and three different types of fruit to show how we can make 5 and then towards the end of the week the Cookie Monster had left a message saying he needed help with his number bonds. The children decided to help the Cookie Monster by making  some shortbread biscuits with five chocolate chips. We have left them out for the Cookie Monster, lets hope the Cookie Monster can find them!
