For our Art this half term, Class 6 looked at the art work of early civilisations. We decided to use clay and sculpting tools to create our very own miniatured Easter Island Heads. We spent lots of time looking at the different features of them and designed them in our sketch books. After that, we got our hands dirty and moulded the clay into the our required shape. Making sure the spend extra time adding the ears and noses. We then used our sculpting tools to add the extra detail to the faces. Finally, we painted them to help set the clay in position.
