So very proud of our class this week after their incredible class assembly for parents. We have enjoyed learning so many new things in Year 4 so far and loved sharing some of these with our families and friends.

We have really enjoyed our science unit on how plants grow. In this lesson, we investigated how the stems of flowering plants transport water and minerals. We predicted how long it would take to transport the liquid along two different length paper towel 'stems' and, after making careful observations, we recorded our results.

World Book Day

What a brilliant day!
We shared our favourite books, looked fabulous and had a full afternoon of storytelling with a delicious treat at the end of it. We really are a very lucky bunch. Well done everyone.

Delicious DT Work

We had a great day baking our first batch of biscuits for our new DT Project.
First, we tasted a range of popular biscuits and evaluated them for taste, appearance and packaging. Then, we made a batch of biscuits to taste before deciding how to adapt them for our target audience.

It was a yummy task and we had excellent feedback from Mrs Sanderson and Mr Wheelwright who happily joined in with our market research. After that, the biscuit designs were very exciting until we had to make difficult decisions to stay within budget! We can't wait to make and package our final products.
