We all really enjoyed learning about the earliest writing systems.  We explored the different symbols in Ancient Sumerian and Egyptian civilisations. We learnt about the first alphabet from the Phoenicians and used it to match to English words. We were all wonderful at this, but this group of super stars were particularly impressive with their communication and organisation skills.
