We really enjoyed sorting and comparing countries in geography today. We decided on our own groups to sort into based on the information we had. Some ways we organised our data was according to population, land area, main religion followed, borders with oceans, currency. We worked so well together and really enjoyed sharing what we noticed in our discussions. We loved our DT project - designing and making our own cushions. In the unit, we learnt applique techniques and used a range of stitches to make our wonderful finished products. Our designs had a winter or festive theme, which made them an ideal gift to take home during our Christmas break and we hope all of our families really liked them because we were super proud. |
