Our Trip to the Sculpture Park

We went on a lovely trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and had a great time looking at all the different sculptures in the park and learning about the different artist that had created them. We visited a chapel with lights inside that were voice activated it was amazing. We had a walk around all the sculptures and then came back to the base for lunch. After that we go to go on a tour of the sculpture park with an artist called POI. She told us about each piece of art and gave us a sketch book to draw some of the sculptures. We were about to answer questions about the materials used and techniques to create them from the knowledge we had gained in our art lessons at school. Poi was impressed with our knowledge.
