DT-Pavilions

In Class 4 we have designed and made a pavilion in DT for an animal to live in. First we mapped out the design we made onto card and designated areas for the animals to live in. Then we got to work on the sides of the pavilion sticking together lollypop sticks. We tried different ways to stick these together and then used the glue gun to make the frame stick securely. For each of the three sides, we made different designs using different techniques such as paper folding, cutting shapes, weaving and using art straws and match sticks for detail. We later assembled our pavilions and added a roof for the enclosure to finish these off.
