On Friday, the children were challenged to make a model of the different states of matter using a cup, rainbow drops, tin foil and sellotape. In groups, the children made a model of a solid, a liquid and a gas. As you can see, they all did really well in creating the models and enjoyed taking a few rainbow drops home too! We are looking at how to multiply and divide in our Maths sessions this term. On Thursday, we looked at how to divide by sharing. The children were given different amounts of bean bags and we had to share them between the hoops. All of the children were thoroughly engaged and this helped them back in the classroom where they continued to use sharing to divide. |
