Today has been Odd Socks Day. Odd socks symbolise that we are all different and that children should be themselves, accepting of one another and celebrate difference. The day is meant to remind us to think about our words before we say them and their effects on others. Children in class have have come in all kinds of socks to help us remember we are all unique. We have discuss anti- bullying and how bullying can affect people. Children in Class 4 were all able to identify adults they could talk to if they felt they were being bullied and what is classed as bullying behaviour. We will continue with this work over the course of the week.
Thank you all for wearing such cool sock combinations today!😊 In class 4 Mrs Taylor has been sharing her love of reading with everyone! Each week a child has been taking home the reading bear and a bundle of goodies to enjoy when enjoying a good book at home with our loved ones. They then add to our reading journey sharing our favourite parts of the story and telling the class all about it! Everyone can't wait for their turn. |
