Lower Key Stage 2 spent a couple of wonderful days visiting the national coal mining museum, which linked well with our work on rocks, how they are formed and how they are mined. The children were very well behaved and had a thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience. As part of our Jubilee celebrations we all got involved in a range of traditional and modern playground games. If you look closely you may see Mr Gledhill under the parachute. |
