The Lady With the Lamp

KS1 had the pleasure of meeting our time travelling guest, Florence Nightingale today. We have been learning about her important work during History lessons so it was a wonderful opportunity to find out more about her life, what it was like to be alive at that time and the conditions that she worked in. We took part in a number of drama and movement activities, learning key dates and information along the way. Finally, Florence told us about the important work of Mary Seacole.
