We had lots of fun creating Jubilee decorations and learning all about Queen Elizabeth II. We made our own celebratory afternoon tea and had lots of fun playing with our friends in KS1. We finished the celebrations with a whole school afternoon tea where we all got to sit together.
Year 2 children enjoyed an ice pop to celebrate the end of their SATs this week. They've all worked super hard and tried their best. Well done!
We learned about Sir Isaac Newton and his discovery of Gravity. We then did an experiment involving spinners to see if the weight of the spinner effected the speed of its fall.
In writing lessons, we have been writing a persuasive letter to the School Council to see if we can do more about recycling in school. We have got lots of great ideas about small changes that we could make.
In Science this half term we are becoming super scientists. One of our experiments is to see if the amount of water on a slice of bread effects the amount of mold growth.
We have been very excited to see the change in mold growth over the weeks.
What will it look like after 3 weeks?
To begin our shape topic in Maths, we went on a shape hunt around the school. You wouldn't believe how many different shapes we spotted. There are rectangles everywhere!
Welcome to Class 3. We all try our best to be kind to each other and share our fantastic ideas.
