For World Book Day, Class 3 red the story of the Snail and the Whale. We then compared the size of a snail to the size of a great humpback whale. We learned that snails are around 5 centimetres long (5cm), around the length of your thumb! We also learned that a humpback whale can grow up to 16 Metres (16m) long! A humpback whale couldn't fit into our classroom so we went outside and visualised just how long that really is!  Comments are closed.
