Check Out Our Map Skills

As part of our geography topic 'Going On Safari'. We are learning animals that can be found in Kenya, as well as learning all about maps and how to read them. Today we combined the 2! We used maps and compass points to navigate around the plains of Kenya, discovering a variety of animals. Learning songs to support our learning.
We then challenged our selves to follow the coordinates on a map of our school to find different items. We also recorded different landmarks and objects that could be found in a variety of coordinates. We are quite the experts now!
