We all wore odd socks today to show everyone that it is OK to be different. Can you work out whose socks these are? How amazingly silly do we all look in our pyjamas? it is all in a good cause because we are raising money for children in need. We might be in our pyjamas,
but we are wide awake and ready to work. We are studying patterns in art. We have looked at Poonac art and created our own work based on their ideas. We also took our pencils for a walk on a piece of paper and used different patterns to fill each section. Then we put everyone's work together to create one big piece of art work which we are very pleased with.  In order to become really quick at our times tables, we have been having a quick on the draw shoot out. We are studying the local area and where we live in geography. We have been exploring our environment. We went on a walk around the school grounds. We discovered where it was noisiest and where it was quietest. We saw new buildings and old ones. We collected things that we found on our way around on a stick to remind us of our journey. |
