We had great fun writing and performing our own radio adverts for a new tourist attraction. Have a listen!
Look at all our fabulous costumes! We really enjoyed celebrating all the amazing books and authors, from Black Beauty by Anna Sewell to Matilda by Roald Dahl.
Class 5 loved forming and kneading their own bread. When it was ready, we baked and ate it. Delicious!
Class 5 loved trying lots of new foods in DT. We tried feta cheese, croissants, chick peas, brioche, peppers, olives, sweetcorn, carrots and others. We didn't like everything we tried but the croissants and brioche was our favourites.
As part of our science topic (Sound) we have made guitars today. We wanted to explore how the lengths of different strings changed the pitch of the sound.
We have worn Odd Socks today to show our commitment to stamping out bullying!
Today we have made pitta bread pizzas. We practised our cutting techniques on a pear before being let loose on the ingredients for the pizza. We chose chicken, ham and pepperoni for our meat toppings and sweetcorn, onion and mushrooms for our veggies. They were delicious!
In Class 5, we created our own paints using fruits and vegetables. We used beetroots, carrots, spinach and red cabbage to create different colours. We were very surprised when the red cabbage dried! Maybe you could try it at home.
We are hard-working, fun-loving, thoughtful, smart, creative, respectful and supportive!
