The three classess of UKS2 have spent the morning on a local walk. We have studied both human and physical geography, as well as gathering pictures and examples of local flora and fauna. The walk culminated in a trip to the River Dearne, where we looked and at both natural and man made features. Come Dine With Me The children worked all through the dayto create a sumptuous three course meal consisting of: Stuffed Peppers, Vegetable Pasta Bake and Eton Mess. The food was amazing and the children thoroughly enjoyed eating their fill. In Class 7 we have spent the term working on our understanding of cams. We have studied the mechanisms, learned about how they are used in the modern world and designed and built our own moving toys utilising a range of different cam shapes. The children were amazing and had a great time using the tools and assembling these working models. |
