We learnt how to build and add our own switches to our electrical circuits today. We had to use lots of problem solving thinking to systematically swap out components to first build a complete circuit. Then, we built the switches from card, split pins, paper clips and bulldog clips and added them to our circuits to turn the bulb on and off.We loved our learning in art this week. We explored mixing colours using powder paints and made our own colour charts of the earthy tones we liked. Then, we created our own Stone Age 'Stories without words' with positive and negative prints of our prehistoric stencil shapes. We think they look fab!
We had a brilliant time learning to be historians when we examined a collection of artefacts this week. We used images from a Bronze Age collection in the British Museum and discussed what we thought they could be before attaching the labels to them. We learnt a lot about what life might have been like during the Bronze Age in Britain. We love sharing and recommending books together in our weekly library time. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful space to enjoy.
